SUMMER IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!

The sun is getting warmer and the days are getting longer, you know what that means! SUMMER is practically here!

So what are we doing to prepare here at Graviti ??

1 hot bod coming up!

First and foremost, we need to get our greens in! Green smoothies are great for getting a quick and delicious serving of everything you need in one drink.

Today, we are featuring one of our favorite recipes that is perfect on a hot day and will remind you of a classic margarita— pina colada!

Recipe : 1 cup fresh spinach, 1/2 cup coconut milk, 1/2 cup water, 1 tablespoon cocnut flakes, 1 1/2 cups pineapple (fresh).

Instructions : Blend spinach, coconut milk, water, and coconut flakes until smooth.

Next, add the pineapple and blend again.

LAstly, garnish with a piece of pineapple on rim and/ or a bit more coconut flakes on top.

Walking Saves Lives

There have been countless studies on the benefits of walking everyday— from reducing risk of heart disease and stroke to improved management of high cholesterol, joint /muscular pain, and diabetes.

Here at graviti fitness we believe in the power of walking! not only for health but also to help get you the body of your dreams.

Walking just 10 mins a day can make a world of a difference for us phsycially and mentally. We have recently started practing mindfullness on our walks every morning.

leave your phone at home, and walk around your neighborhood for just 1o minutes. taking everything in, from the noisy cars passing by to the wind swaying through trees. This a great way to get your day started as well as giving you a moment every day to be thankful for our planet and health.

So the next time you cant make it to the gym or hop on a treadmill, engaging your abs while walking is a great workout to burn up to 600+ calories in 1 hour.

We’ve gone over the benefits of walking, now to really get our summer bod we have to intensify the walking with stairs! yes, many many flights of stairs! stairs are a great workout for fat loss, Not only does this increase your heart rate giving you a better cardio workout, it also is great for targeting your thighs, calves, and glutes.

Adding ankle weights or a weighted vest takes it to a whole new level. that we love!

Head to your nearest beachside stair case or stadium. strap the extra weight on and get that blood pumping.

Near graviti fitness there are 2 well known staircases with amazing ocean views, China cove and crystal cove.
